As of January 15, Lone Survivor, the motion picture adaption of Marcus Luttrell’s harrowing experiences while in Afghanistan, has pulled in over $47.9 million at the box office. That – in and of itself – proves that there is a strong market for films that place the spotlight on “the brotherhood”; the common bond that forms among men who are at war.
