THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death cast member Edwin H Bravo has a new role in a film called Harbinger Down. See it here on FB!! Edwin is fortunate enough to be working with the legendary Lance Henriksen, and 2 time Oscar nominated Visual Effects Creator, now, writer and Director, Alec Gillis. Filming starts next week. Hoo-rah Edwin!!! Edwin describes it as a “Horror/Sci-FI” film & that’s what Lance excels at. Apparently he & Lance must have got on pretty well, as Lance already gave him a gift for Edwin to wear during the filming, something pertaining to the character Edwin is portraying. Just trying a little “off the wall” marketing to hopefully draw those eyes which we have hitherto missed. As you know, we need to draw attention to the project, the site, and the Indiegogo.com page. In this day and age when (it seems like) everyone is attempting crowdfunding, you have to set yourself apart from the others. Success of “Lone Survivor” Shows Strength Inherent in ‘Brotherhood’-type Films…

As of January 15, Lone Survivor, the motion picture adaption of Marcus Luttrell’s harrowing experiences while in Afghanistan, has pulled in over $47.9 million at the box office. That – in and of itself – proves that there is a strong market for films that place the spotlight on “the brotherhood”; the common bond that forms among men who are at war. Men at war form a special bond that transcends many things over one’s lifespan. We’ve heard many Veterans describe their buddies in combat as “closer to them than their wives” several times. Combat certainly has to be the most incredible stress of all time, and a bond forms between these men that never fades, never dies...

Now the real crunch time begins!!! As of about 2 a.m EST, the Indiegogo.com page went active. A bit delayed after some hand-to-hand combat with PayPal (why is it there’s such trouble recognizing accounts?) but that should be ironed out soon if you’re looking to donate via PayPal. We’re Up!!! We’re Up!!! We’re Up!!! A long time in coming – maybe too long for some of our fans – but trying to prep the ground properly. Crowdfunding is not an exact science and many are still learning as we go along. Most of the preparation concerned getting the word out via the Facebook page, which still continues to steam on strongly...

What started as a small, independent yet forceful production has – proudly – remained so. Staying true to historical roots is what we’re all about here. The several drafts that were written on the script, getting it to where it now is – which in our estimation – is absolute perfection. We’re not boasting, just confident of what we’ve created. Edwin H. Bravo & I have enough experience working in the industry (stage plays, films, short films, Shakespeare) that we instinctively know when something is right and has been taken to its ultimate height...
