Premier Episode of Masters of Valor Now in Post!!!
Been a few months since the last post but we only post when there’s some actual news; it’s official – the premier episode of “Masters of Valor” (formerly “Masters of War” ) is now “in the can” & in post production!!! It was a whirlwind several days’ shoot. A lot to get in in a finite amount of time. Thanks to living legend Bill Rebane – for lending his invaluable experience & keen oversight – and the tireless efforts of the pros at Parthe Productions – Nick Kapanke, John Orrison, & Paul Lemanager – . These guys are absolute masters at what they do. Also thanks go out to the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center of Superior, WI for their invaluable assistance in helping complete this production! Their numerous displays of historical material featured a ready-made set for the crew, which made things a lot easier!!! After shooting the Host portions with Head Writer & Host Robert E. Wilhelm, then it was into the sound booth to lay down the Voice Over track; in a forty-five page script that can be a daunting task especially when you have to do it all in one session!!! The session for the voice over itself took 5.5 hours ;<)

Currently cutting a Sizzle Reel from the footage shot; there is interest from several distributors so this is what they’ll see first. Superior WI is an nice place; right across the river from Duluth, MN.
It was good we shot when we did since their fall season is not long at all; the weather report for this weekend was forecasting snow!!! Paul Lemanager pointed this out to us in our discussions vis-a-vis shooting schedules. In this area of the country, waiting until late October could be too late: there could be several inches of snow on the ground by this time!

And – we had help in the form of Maltese Teddie Wilhelm!!! He traveled to WI for the shoot & was very instrumental in keeping everybody properly herded!!! Thanks Teddie!!! ;<)
In addition, renowned WI Blogger Ed Newman paid us a visit on set & chronicled it in a new blog post.
Thank you Dear Sir!!! More to come so stay tuned!!!
