Countdown: 8 Days to Go…

Before THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death goes active on Indiegogo.com – January 15, 2014!!! It’s coming down to the wire. The project’s Ambassadors of Goodwill by Special Arrangement are already working hard spreading the word and will – shortly – have something to pass on that – we hope – will add a bit of excitement & something that you too can get if you so choose. We spotlight them here in recognition of their invaluable assistance in this production, they are (in order of joining the project):

Stephen Paul Spratt, United Kingdom

These Ambassadors of Goodwill by Special Arrangement are important links in the Public Relations chain: we couldn’t be doing what we are without them. As things progress, their input will be invaluable in helping spread the word, because – as heretofore stated in previous posts – this production will be completed with YOUR assistance. When the Indiegogo.com page goes active on January 15, 2014, it will be your active participation that makes this production possible. And – it bears repeating – the production team we’ve assembled for this are seasoned veterans: the Emmy Award Winning Sir Brick Price, a pioneer in Special Visual F/X & Production Design (you’ve seen Blade Runner, The Abyss, Space Cowboys, Apollo 13? That’s Sir Brick Price!), Dean Andre – himself a two-time Emmy nominee – on Production Sound, and from the Emerald Isle & awarded Best Cinematography Award at the Toronto Film Festival John Lynch as Director of Photography. This is an incredible amount of talent to have on this production & they’re all working on this for (basically) peanuts compared to what their usual (per day) quotes are. Why? Because they BELIEVE in the project: in its subject matter, the writing, & above all the uniqueness of it. We’re proud to be breaking new ground here, and what a great bunch of guys to break it with! (& with that we mean both Production Team & all the Ambassadors of Goodwill by Special Arrangement).

Sir Brick  – being a knight himself (Order of St. Constantius)  states the reason why in The Marscher Lords: Brotherhood or Death Video Pitch Trailer. We’re attempting to open a new chapter in entertainment: one that’s based in history and historical fact because – as we all know full well – truth is stranger than fiction! And – with this project as well as those that follow – they’re far more guy-oriented. Tired of seeing guys portrayed as dim bulbs who can only survive because of their girlfriend/wife? Well, that’s what we’re angling to turn a page on; we’re cut from the “Rugged Individualist’ stripe and are not afraid to show it; more “Steve McQueen” and less ‘hipster’.

That’s what we’ll always be about: great stories you won’t find anywhere else, great action, great fun, and uplifting to boot. We’re in revolutionary times, people are empowered by technology like never before. The ball is in play like it never has been before. Let’s pick it up and carry it across the goal line. Join the team & get ready to rumble!!!
