Interest continues to build about QuarterDeck Production Corp’s premier production, THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death. Our Facebook page has been generating a lot of interest from around the world, most specifically from here in the U.S, Great Britain, & (of course) Germany. The interest is understandable; not much has been done on the Teutonic Knights ever. The Knights Templar have received much more media coverage over the years. Well, let’s see if we can’t put that right. That’s one thing that is completely lost on Hollywood in general – they keep trying to make the same production over & over, either not realizing – or willfully ignorant – that there is a wealth of history out there that could be turned into top-notch entertainment. Some of our friends & peers have been amazed at the diamond nugget that is THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death; the story, the originality, the uniqueness. It’s all about finding something that hasn’t been overdone & making it your own.  Go for the Gold! We only get one chance on this earth so why not give it your all? If you don’t put it out there, nobody will ever know/be aware of it. So what have you got to lose? Know how many times Edison failed before developing the light bulb  (okay, it was actually Tesla but stay with me here!)?  Go for the Gold! Reach for the Stars! CCW (Current Conventional Wisdom) might consider that a bit cliche these days but who cares? Listening to the powers-that-be lecture us that “we can’t get anywhere” on our own & have to operate “within the system” are part of the problem. To turn that another way, “If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem!” LOL!!!

We are so looking forward/excited/chomping @ the bit to getting into production on THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood or Death; everything from the location, to the production staff, to the horses, to the magic created between the two brothers which is left up to myself & my excellent counterpart Edwin H. Bravo to create on screen. There are good actors and there are bad actors and then there are TERRIFIC actors: my friend Edwin H. Bravo comes in underneath that adjective. I’ve worked with him in  Julius Caesar ,  The Tempest ,   Henry IV ,  Henry II , and Jean Anouilh’s  Becket . Simply put, he’s one of the finest actors I’ve ever been proud to

work with. And I hope to – not just on this upcoming short – but on the feature to come. Also very excited about the score. We’re still getting (& are still open to) submissions from film scorers, so if you – or know somebody – who’s looking for something unique to score & put their name to, give them a heads-up about THE MARSCHER LORDS:Brotherhood of Death. This production is going to be original from the ground up and we’re looking for a few good individuals to join us in the process.
